Staff Attorney
Alexis Rickmers (she / her) initially joined CLE as an Equal Justice Works Fellow with a focus on supporting students and families experiencing racial bullying in Massachusetts. Following her fellowship, Alexis transitioned to a full-time Staff Attorney working on high-quality education access for all initiatives, state-wide advocacy in response to federal decisions, and legislative advocacy. Alexis has experience working with Title VI, Title IX, school discipline, and language access. She holds a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law; a M.A. in Higher Education Administration from Boston College; and a B.A. from the University of North Texas.
